NMAT 2025: The Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) administers the NMAT exam for admission to more than 50 b-schools across India, the Philippines, South Africa, Hungary, Nigeria, and Morocco. NMAT registration 2025 will start in the first week of August 2025. GMAC will host the NMAT 2025 exam within a test window. Aspirants will be able to appear for the NMAT exam thrice during this test window. Candidates have to complete the NMAT 2025 registration for the first exam attempt. Candidates must complete the NMAT retake registration for the remaining two attempts.

NMAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for the NMAT, candidates must review the exam and institute eligibility conditions. Candidates failing to meet the NMAT eligibility criteria will face rejections in later stages of the admission process. Space below indicates the NMAT eligibility conditions which remain identical across participating b-schools:

  1. Age limit: There is no age limit to appear for NMAT by GMAC.
  2. Academic qualification: Typical aggregate score required for admission across participating colleges is 50 per cent in bachelor’s level exam. Minimum score requirement in graduation degree may vary across NMAT colleges.
  3. Work Experience: Candidates with work experience are also eligible to apply for NMAT exam.

NMAT Registration 2025

Eligible candidates can fill the NMAT application form before the last date. GMAC facilitates the NMAT registration online on its official website, mba.com. The steps below mentions the NMAT registration process 2025:

  1. Create an account on mba.com by providing details, including name, email ID, mobile number, etc.
  2. Complete email verification to access the NMAT by GMAC dashboard.
  3. From the dashboard, proceed to fill personal, academic, and communication details.
  4. Add school preferences for admissions through NMAT 2025.
  5. Choose ID proof and provide the ID number. Candidates have to carry the same ID card for verification at the test centre.
  6. Accept all terms and conditions by clicking on the ‘I Agree’ button.
  7. Pay the NMAT registration fee using the preferred mode of payment.

NMAT 2025 Scheduling

GMAC provides three exam attempts at NMAT within the testing window. Candidates get the facility to choose the exam date, slot, and desired test centre using the NMAT scheduling window. NMAT scheduling, also known as NMAT slot booking, helps candidates to plan the exam as per their preparation phase. 

All applicants get the option to schedule their first exam attempt soon after registration. Only the candidates who complete the NMAT slot booking process will be able to download NMAT 2025 admit card.

NMAT 2025 Exam Pattern

Candidates appearing for the NMAT exam must go through the test pattern before planning their prep strategy. GMAC allows candidates to choose their desired section order before the exam starts. Each section has a dedicated time limit; however, the question weight remains the same across all three sections.
